Dispatch times

We know you want your yarn as quickly as possible! For items that are in stock, we aim to ship within 3 business days (often faster) excluding during holiday closures. If your order contains pre-order items, it will not be sent straightaway but will be sent when all the items for your order are in stock (usually 2-4 weeks).

PLEASE NOTE: After a big sale event, or when there are public holidays, our dispatch times will be a bit longer. We apologise in advance for any delays and rest assured, we're working hard to get your parcel to you as soon as possible.

 
Postage costs - Free Shipping & Flat Rate Shipping

Orders over $90 are eligible for free shipping within Australia, while orders under $90 will incur a flat shipping rate of $9.95. (International shipping is also available and is calculated at checkout, more information below.)

 
Domestic postage information

We use eParcel to get your yarn purchases to you more efficiently. Your parcel has a tracking number, and Australia Post will email this to you after your parcel has been picked up from us. If you do not have an email address don't worry, you are still able to track your parcel by contacting us on (03) 5442 4600. We will provide you with your parcel's tracking number, or check on the status of your parcel for you.

Australia Post may not leave a card when they attempt to deliver a parcel. To make sure you get notified when your parcel is delivered/taken to the post office, please make sure you have an email address on your account when you order with us over the phone, as Australia Post will send you notifications via SMS or the MyPost app. You can read more about the change here (in the Frequently Asked Questions) section: Australia Post FAQ.

 
Click and Collect

Experience the convenience of our Click and Collect service when placing an order on our website. Here's how it works:

  • Select Click and Collect: Choose the Click and Collect option at checkout.
  • Order Preparation: Your order will be prepared for pickup at our Bendigo Shop. Normal processing times apply, as parcels are packed in the order they are received. 
  • Notification: We will notify you by email when your order is ready for pickup and confirm whether there are any backordered items.
  • Preorder Items: For any preorder items, you may choose to pick up the available products first or wait until your complete order is ready.
  • Pickup: Visit our Bendigo Shop during opening hours, with your order number and a form of identification, to collect your order.

Please note: if your parcel is not collected within 30 days (without prior agreement), it may be returned and refunded at our discretion. If you are no longer able to pick up your parcel and would like your order posted, normal shipping charges will apply.

NEW ZEALAND SHIPPING

We ship to New Zealand and are happy to offer FLAT RATE Express Shipping, so you can shop with confidence.

AUD$17.50 - Up to 2kg (Most of our balls are 200gm, so that's up to 10 balls)

AUD $35 -2kg-4kg

AUD $55 - 4-6kg

 
Other International Shipping Destinations

International shipping is available to 20+ countries, with shipping rates calculated at checkout. 

If you'd like to enquire about shipping to a particular country that's not on our list, please email our friendly customer service team on hello@bendigowoollenmills.com.au.

Please note: buyers are responsible for any and all customs fees and duties on items posted internationally from us in Australia. Please check your own countries' laws on custom duties and taxes before placing your order, as no refunds will be offered for any parcel returned or refused due to taxes when it arrives in your country.

 
Orders from the USA

As of late 2025, we are not shipping to USA addresses due to the complexity and cost of collecting tariffs on purchases.
