Designed by Linda Kortman of Wild Little Acorn
This elegant kid's cardigan is created using the classic granny square in a variety of colours. Squares are crocheted in numerical order and then 'joined as you go' on last round. Ribbing is added to the sleeves and cardigan edges for a polished look.
All steps are well explained with photos, a layout chart, and complete video tutorials. Links to tutorials are included in the pattern.
This is very clearly written, extensively tested, and cross-checked for size and fit on our models. The download contains two separate files: one for the full pattern, and one for the general construction layout and stitch conversion chart.

Tension: the size of your first square acts as a gauge swatch. Adjust hook size, or number of rounds, to re-size square as needed.
