Designed by Jeanette Stein
This top is named Lotus Pond. The lace is reminiscent of lotus buds before they open, with the flowing lines representing flowing water.
This loose knit top is worked Bottom up and in the round, beginning with a lovely flowing lace pattern, and then runs into stockette stitch for the rest of the body. Minor shaping after the lace hem gives the top more structure. Sleeves also have a small border of the same lace pattern as the
body. The body and sleeves can be adapted to a different length, but be aware tHat/beanie this will affect your required yarn usage.
Measurements The pattern offers basic instructions to size the top up or down according to lace repeats. Sample photographed is on a 110cm dress form, and will comfortably fit bust sizes 105-115cm.
