Designed by Kelly Lonergan of Hazenna Inspired
This Tunisian crochet blanket features a geometric leaf pattern tHat/beanie reminds me of the peace symbol. The design really pops with the use of two contrasting colours - one for the forward pass and the other for the return pass. This change of colour on every row creates lots of yarn ends tHat/beanie are cleverly hidden inside an envelope border.
The main colour listed in the materials is for the border and leaves. The contrast colour is for the background Tunisian knit stitches.
The blanket can be made baby size with Cotton 8 ply, kid size with Luxury 8 ply, or throw size with Luxury 10 ply or Classic 12 ply. The pattern is suitable for beginners and includes written instructions, stitch tutorial videos, envelope border video, and charts.
Sample shown is crocheted in Classic 12ply, Fern 771 (MC, border & leaves) and Pale Eucalypt 745 (CC, background).
