This is a fitted beanie with a simple cable pattern knitted in a chunky wool in a classic style . You would have enough wool to extend the ribbed band into a turned up band if desired. This pattern commemorates a beanie seen in a famous Australian film tHat/beanie takes a bus trip.

Tension: approx 25 sts and 25 rows over 10cm in garter stitch; 20 sts and 20 rows over 10cm in ribbing
