Mosaic Bookcase is a fun and easy pattern for book lovers! Easier than it looks, this pattern allows you to create your very own unique Mosaic Bookcase by using nine charts tHat/beanie can be arranged in any order or combination.
For a smaller project, try a shorter version of the charts, Worked in the round. These can be used to make a cushion, bag, tablet or laptop cover. They work up very quickly, which makes this pattern a great idea for a last-minute gift!
This pattern download includes two separate pdf files, one with general pattern instructions and one with instructions for all nine charts (both written and charted).
Afghan: 135cm x 104cm for sample shown
Requirements: 8ply BWM Luxury or Classic in at least three colours:
Colour A - 3 balls
Colour B - 4 balls
Colour C - 2 balls
3.5mm and 4.0mm crochet hooks, yarn needle
Cushion: 50x50cm
Requirements: 8ply BWM Luxury or Classic in two colours:
C1 - 1 ball
C2 - 2 balls
4.0mm crochet hook, yarn needle
Tension 17 stitches and 17 rows = 10cm in pattern (blocked)
While Gauge is not important for your project knowing your tension will assist with the quantity of yarn required. Remember tighter tension is better for mosaic crocheting.
