Knit in the round from the bottom up, with a seamed double brim for comfort, this beanie is made up of a series of knit and purls to create an attractive diamond motif.
Techniques used: knit in the round, knit, purl, ktog - knit two together (decrease), ALSO knit working yarn together with cast-on edge to form a double brim.
Size: Adult
Measurements (cm approx): 21cm (height) x 39cm (circumference), to fit approx a 60cm circumference head.
Requirements:
- BWM Classic 12ply or Wollemi 12ply, less than 1x 200g ball
- (sample knit in Wollemi 12ply Paperbark and used about 76g/100m)
- 6mm circular needle, 40cm/16"
- 6mm double pointed needles
- Yarn needle
- Stitch marker
Tension: 16 stitches over 10cm, knitted in stockinette stitch
