With a dash of spandex, the “Spring” in the name not only fits the season, it also describes the special feature of the yarn. It is slightly stretchy, with some spring due to the spandex. Finished pieces in this yarn are more likely to retain their intended shape, particularly when compared to 100% cotton yarn items, due to this spandex element.
The waved effect of the yarn delivers a lovely, lightly textured finish in completed garments and pieces. The stitches crafted in this yarn are fuller in appearance than traditional cotton and we think it makes it ideal for a more casual knit or crochet piece.
