Lovely wool easy to use
Fantastic colour, with a very sturdy yarn.
I use this 4 ply on the tops, toes and heels of my socks. I find it great and so far it seems to wear and wash well. I use contrasting colours or patterned 4 ply as the body of the sock. The big ball, lasts me very well.

Great colour which I will incorporate in a striped jumper together with the silver grey, navy and red 4 ply previously purchased from Bendigo Woollen Mills. Love this place with all the lovely wool, patterns and other accessories. Great that it opens on Sunday in winter too.

I have recently started a colour work Dala Sewater by Elenor Mortensen and I chose this yarn as my main colour. Being a non suoerwash the yarn has a "Toothy" feel that softens and blooms slightly after wet blocking.
I paired it with a nonsuperwash thin sock yarn held together with the BWM Lilt and the combination of the toothy Rustic and fluffy Lilt look and feel Amazing!
I can't wait to finish and see how it looks but I cannot recommend this Rustic Tweed 4ply highly enough.

This yarn is absolutely beautiful. Easy to knit. Doesn’t split. I love it.
The colour is even more vibrant than in the pictures, I love the tweed flecks too, it really suits the wool. Cant wait to start working with it!
I've used the Rustic Tweed 8 ply before, and love the way it looks. The colours, the neps, the slightly fluffy twist. It felts a bit, which is great for what I'm using this 4 ply for -- a colourwork cardigan that I'm planning to steek (argh!). It's amazingly soft; I personally like a little bit of a prickle, but I've found the prickliness smoothes out if you handwash with hair conditioner. All in all, this is just a gorgeous yarn for a special garment.
