I have only just managed to deliver it to her so do not know how it will fair with the machine washing I am sure it will be subjected to. I am happy with other luxury I have.
I have been using Luxury in both 4 and 8 ply for years. Beautiful to knit with, soft yet strong, resulting in superior garments. I made many baby blankets with Luxury 8 ply, soft and cosy, and having the great benefit of being machine washable. Highly recommended.
I did swap this colour for Moonflower 328 and I have knitted a size 4 cardigan. It is soft, plenty of body, doesn’t split, and an absolute pleasure to use. I have been using Bendigo wool for at least 30-35 years and I always prefer the luxury yarn. Thank you!

Absolute luxury. Beautiful to work with. I am creating an Aran-style jumper for my man. The wool is wonderfully soft but keeps its shape, no splitting, no tangling, just a pristine pleasure to make knitting with it a joy.

I absolutely love Bendigo Woollen Mills Luxury 8 Ply. It is a beautiful yarn to work with soft, smooth and lovely in the hands, with fantastic stitch definition and a gorgeous finished result.

I love the soft texture of luxury and the colours are lovely. The reason why I didn't give 5 stars was that I recently had a ball with thread that was broken several times. Judging from the multpile balls i used, I think it was a one-off. So I'm happy to keep ordering. I use Luxury interspersed with other yarns for texture contrasts.
