BWM's Gather & Yarn has been designed to make yarn craft lovers smile. It will be a weekend of inspiration, learning and connections, surrounded by all those who understand the true joy of crafting (aka 'your people'!).

What’s happening over the Weekend?
Think of Gather & Yarn like 'craft camp' for grown ups!
We’ll be kicking off on the Friday night with (optional) early event registration and drinks & nibbles at the BWM store from 4pm-6pm. Chat, sip, nibble, collect your fabulous $50-of-value Goodie bag, sneak in a spot of yarn shopping at an exclusive 10% off storewide...and make your first new crafty friends.
Saturday morning the main event begins! We’ll be spending the day at the All Seasons Resort Hotel in Bendigo. Official registration will open from 9am-9.30am, and then you’ll have a chance to be a part of your first 3-hour, hands on, crafty workshop.
Saturday afternoon, you'll enjoy a catered buffet lunch with all attendees together. Next up, we have an inspiring panel discussion on making a living from "Living a Crafty Life", featuring some of our amazing teachers. We'll then have a Q&A session with some of the BWM team, where you get a sneak peek at the yarny year ahead, with a chance to submit your own questions.
Then you'll have a chance to take part in some shorter, skills-based creative sessions and continue your afternoon of making, learning and laughing. Or you can relax in our Slow Stitching Lounge, create and chat with new and old friends and even partake in some BWM 'yarn tasting'.
Saturday night you can relax and enjoy a night out (or in) in Bendigo. Our friends at Craft Cinema Night are planning to run a special event (tickets available separately) to coincide with Gather & Yarn: Craft Cinema night in Bendigo. You can buy a ticket from them when they're released, then continue crafting at the movies.
Sunday we come back together at the All Seasons at 9am and gather together over a coffee, tea and light breakfast snack, before you’ll be heading into your second creative 3-hour workshop of the weekend (9.45am-12.45pm).
To finish it all off, we’ll be opening the BWM Shop on Sunday from 1pm-4pm exclusively for Gather & Yarn participants, where you’ll have a chance to save 10% on EVERYTHING in store, before you head home inspired to have your most creative year!

We have such an amazing crafting community in Australia and we wanted this event to engage with working creatives who contribute so much to us all.

If you're not ambi-crafterous, rest assured that we will be running enough sessions to cover both knitters and crocheters. But we know crafters are a curious and adventurous bunch, so you will also have a chance to try something new if you’d like!
Who should attend Gather & Yarn?
Anyone who loves to create with yarn, enjoys meeting people and who is open to trying new things! We'll have content for both adventurous beginners and more experienced crafters. We will be creating a fun, supportive, positive environment and want everyone to contribute their own lovely energy to this event.

Accommodation for this event is not included in your ticket. If you’re travelling to Bendigo, and looking for somewhere close to the main event venue, there are rooms available to book at the All Seasons, The Golden Reef Motor Inn (across the road), The Best Western Crystal Inn (a block away) and plenty of other options around Bendigo.
How much are tickets?
Tickets to this full weekend event are strictly limited to 180 people. The first 30 people to book get a chance to access our earlybird pricing.

- There are no single day tickets.
- Accommodation is not included.
- This event is not suitable for children of any age.
- Ticket sales are final.Tickets are transferable, please reach out to us if you have someone you'd like to transfer your place to and need to facilitate this.
- Bendigo Woollen Mills reserves the right to postpone or cancel this Gather & Yarn. In case of event cancellation, a full refund will be issued. If the event is rescheduled, ticket holders will have the opportunity to hold their place, or request a refund.
