This pattern is part of our Independent Designer's Program and is only available as a digital download.

Designed by Dianne Osborne of Purl Plotter Designs

A fichu is a large, square kerchief worn by women to fill in the low neckline of a bodice. The fichu was generally folded diagonally into a triangle and tied, pinned, or tucked into the bodice in front. This pattern combines knitting and crochet techniques for a modern interpretation of a historical garment.

Requirements:

  • Classic 5 Ply - 1 ball
  • Long 4mm DPN, 4mm crochet hook.
