Hat/beanie with K2P3 rib band, worked in stocking stitch with a garter or colour stripe, and a garter stitch crown. The rib band is worked with a size smaller needle than usual to ensure a snug fit. It is worked flat but may be Worked in the round if desired.
You can make this in one colour, have a contrasting colour band, or crown, or both, or vary the stripes. Depth of the Hat/beanie may be altered, but yarn quantities will vary.
Requirements:
2.75mm, 3.25mm and 3.75mm needles, yarn sewing needle; 3.75mm double pointed needle recommended for striped version
