Garter stitch combined with slipped stitches create a crunchy textured fabric with a wavy edge. Pattern includes instructions for both scarf (knit flat) and cowl (knit in the round). The width and length can both be adjusted to suit the wearer, making this pattern beautifully versatile!
Measurement (cm approx):
Scarf: 17(23)cm wide x 128(182)cm long
Cowl: 100cm circumference x 13cm deep
Requirements:
Scarf: 1-2 balls Bendigo Woollen Mills 8ply wool; 4mm & 5mm straight needles
Cowl: 1 ball any BWM 8ply wool; 4mm & 5mm circular needle or long DPNs
Tension:
Scarf: 20 (28) st pattern repeat = 10.5 (15)cm wide (approx)
Cowl: 24st pattern repeat = 12.5cm wide (approx)
