This pattern uses a 2-round repeat to produce a fabric tHat/beanie is thick, squishy and textured. You'll use a variation on the traditional crochet "cross-stitch", combined with back loop stitches to create the appearance of a garden trellis (hence the name).

Special stitch techniques required:Foundation stitches (optional)

Chainless Starting stitches (optional)

Requirements:

1x200g any 8ply BWM wool - Luxury, Classic, or any limited edition wool for something more special!

Yarn needle

5mm crochet hook

Gauge: Htr - 8sts and 7 rows in 2" square
