The idea for this Hat/beanie came from my long lost friend in Norway. Her work colleagues have created somewHat/beanie of a tradition where they wear €˜fruit Hat/beanies' to special days at work. My friend was trying to find a fruit Hat/beanie online but then thought, a crocheted fruit Hat/beanie is better than anything else! It's made from breathable cotton and is the perfect addition to your summer or spring wardrobe €“ or while eating fruit salad!
MATERIALS REQUIRED
BWM Cotton 8ply in 3 colours (100g or less is used for each colour)
2mm and 2.5mm crochet hooks
yarn needle
Measurements (cm approx): Hat/beanie will have a circumference of approximately 54cm. If you would like a smaller Hat/beanie, use a smaller hook, if you would like a larger Hat/beanie, use a larger hook.
TENSION 24 rows of double crochet = 10cm
Standard UK terminology is used throughout this pattern.
