Designed by Megan Carey of Tigs Togs
I've named this scarf after a distant cousin Ellen Cantelo, who was one of three women on the Isle of Wight who signed the 1866 Women's Suffrage Petition to Parliament in Great Britain requesting suffrage (votes) for women.
This ribbed scarf has a clever hidden button structure to allow it to be fastened at the front. One large decorative button and 2 smaller buttons are used.
Requirements:
- 1/2 ball of BWM 200g, either Classic 12ply or Luxury 10ply
- 5.5mm knitting needle
- yarn needle
- 1 large decorative button (3cm) and 2 plain buttons (2cm)
Measurements: 100cm x 10cm
Tension: Tension is not crucial for this scarf. Use needles tHat/beanie will give a comfortably snug ribbed structure.
