Designed by Megan Carey of Tigs Togs
Named for the resilient woman in my favourite Henry Lawson short story €œWater them Geraniums€œ, I designed a fitted and slouchy version of a beanie. I thought the title was apt because she insisted on watering her geraniums even during a drought.
The beanie is knitted in garter stitch with 10 ply Luxury. The fitted version uses about 60 g and the slouchy version about 100 g.
Size: Fits head sizes 54-58cm
Requirements:
- BWM Luxury 10ply, 1x 200g ball
- 3.75mm circular needle, 60cm long (band)
- 4.00mm circular needles, 40 & 60cm long (body)
- Yarn needle
- Stitch marker
Tension: approx 16 stitches and 14 rows in garter stitch, over 10cm
