Designed by Robyne Conway of minimal knits | DESIGNED
Like all minimal knits | DESIGNED scarves, MK#49 drapes beautifully, can be worn in all sorts of ways, and is quick to knit because the pattern uses needles larger than is standard for the yarn.
In fact, all my 4ply scarf patterns can also be knitted with the gorgeous 2ply Lilt yarn, 70% mohair and 30% silk!
Designed in a boomerang shape, this is all garter stitch and eyelets, using a simplified but biased version of the technique commonly known as One Row Lace Stitch. Due to all the eyelets made on the bias, I knit this scarf a bit more slowly and carefully than usual.
Updated June 2025 to include instructions for using new Lilt 2ply Silk & Mohair yarn!
