Designed by Robyne Conway of minimal knits | DESIGNED
Designed in an boomerang shape with a six row technique, this scarf has smocking all along the two main edges. The smocking is slightly awkward in one of the 6 rows, but the other rows just involve adding stitches at one edge, working 10 stitches of rib at the other edge, and casting off 4 stitches above each finished smock. When we're ready to work the third edge, we rib all the way across with smocking and then finish with a very stretchy (but very easy) cast off.
