Designed by Robyne Conway of minimal knits | DESIGNED
Minimal knits | DESIGNED MK#77 crescent shaped scarf drapes beautifully and looks the same on both sides €“ front and back, left and right. This can be worn in all sorts of ways, and is quick to knit because the pattern uses needles larger than is standard for the yarn.
It's just garter stitch with some little decorative loops, starting with 5 stitches and increases significantly to make it long and curved.
In fact all my 4ply scarf patterns can also be made with BWM's gorgeous new 2ply Lilt 70% mohair and 30% silk yarn!
Measurements (cm):
Using 2ply Lilt, scarf will measure approx 252 x 212 x 42 (blocked)
Other yarns will knit up a bit more closely than this one, but will still produce a good-sized scarf.
Requirements:
1 ball 4ply Multicoloured Sock Yarn 100g, OR 2 balls of new 2ply Lilt Mohair & Silk, 25g each
1 pair 5mm needles
