This is a delicate baby blanket created using the filet crochet technique. 4ply Luxury wool was used for the smaller pink blanket, but this pattern works equally well using 8ply yarn and appropriate sized hook for a slightly larger blanket.
The pattern pdf includes a colour block graph for the main body of the blanket, and a symbol graph for the final edging top and bottom.
Purchasing this pattern will allow you to download two files, one written in Aus/UK crochet terms and one written in American crochet terms.
Finished size: 79 x 94 (31 x 37 inches), blocked, when knitted to recommended tension (below).
Requirements:
* BWM Luxury 4ply, 2x 200g balls. Photos show Soft Blush 370.
(Beige blanket was crocheted in Luxury 8ply Stone 343, 3 balls used)
* 3.5mm hook
* Tapestry needle, scissors
Tension: 20 sts and 13 rows to 10cm", measured over treble crochet.
