Julen is a fantasy-medieval-inspired fox Amigurumi pattern, jumping straight out of childhood stories. This 25-page crochet pattern in US terms is filled with colour photos (37) and instructions to make sure your fox turns out just right.
Instructions include detailed colourwork, semi-poseable limb options, and a video for a tricky part of the legs. Also included are instructions for his two accessories: a traveller's jacket and openable satchel.
With a 2.75mm hook and DK weight yarn, he ends up roughly 23cm tall (depending on gauge) and is a perfect size for a desk companion or to fit in a child's backpack (to join in all adventures!).
MATERIALS REQUIRED
BWM Classic 8ply, small amounts in multiple colours, most used being orange & red, about 75m at most.
2.75mm crochet hooks
stuffing
yarn needle
stitch markers and sewing pins
TENSION is not crucial, though it is important to use a small enough hook to create a dense fabric with no gaps between stitches for stuffing to be visible.
Standard US terminology is used throughout this pattern, with a US-to-UK conversion chart included.
