PT 8339 - Cabled Jumper with Optional Cowl - Knitting Pattern
A hypnotic cable design with neat raglan shaping, this cabled jumper also includes an optional cowl for extra cosiness! Knit in your favourite 8 ply yarn.
Knit in pieces from the bottom up, seamed, then picking up stitches to knit neckband in the round. Raglan sleeves. Cowl worked flat and joined.
Shown in Prism 8 ply Possum. Most Bendigo Woollen Mills 8 ply yarns like Rustic Tweed 8 ply, Classic 8 ply, Whisper 8 ply or Luxury 8 ply would suit this pattern. (Equivalent yarns: DK or Light Worsted).
22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm over stocking stitch using 4.00mm needles. How to check and adjust your tension.
1 pair each 3.25mm and 4.00mm knitting needles and a 3.25mm circular needle or DPNs, or size needles to give correct tension, cable needle, 4 stitch-holders.
