Snug is our deliciously soft new yarn that brings together two loved natural fibres, creating a gentle blend of 50% baby alpaca and 50% fine (22 micron) merino.
The baby alpaca is especially fine and wonderfully soft against the skin. Its longer fibres create a delicate bloom across the yarn, while the merino adds gentle structure to the drape created by the baby alpaca. Together, they create a yarn with softness, flow and lasting structure.
Baby alpaca fleece does not contain the guard hairs found in adult alpaca fleece, giving it an exceptionally fine and luxurious feel, even compared with the natural softness of adult Alpaca. Whether made into an accessory or a garment, Snug carries its gentle character from the first stitch through to the finished piece.
