The Harper Hoodie - Adults Knitting Pattern | PT 8725

Be ready for anything (and so stylish to boot!) in this classic hoodie. With a relaxed fit, front pocket, and drawstring hood, this thoughtfully designed pattern is one you'll want to make over and over.  

Construction

Knit flat in pieces, from the bottom up, until hood. Hood is picked up from stitch holders and worked in the round around neck before working back and forth in rows. I-cord is made at end and threaded through the hood as a drawstring. Pocket is worked separately and sewn on.

Tension

22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm over stocking stitch using 4.00mm needles. About knitting tension

Suitable Yarns

Shown in Luxury 8 ply and Classic 8 ply. This pattern could be knitted in any of our 8 ply wool yarns like Whisper 8 ply. (Equivalent yarns: DK or Light Worsted).

Accessories

1 pair each 3.25mm and 4.00mm knitting needles and a 4.00mm circular needle, plus 3.25mm DPNs (or i-cord maker) for i-cord, or size needles to give correct tension, 3 stitch-holders.
