The Legend of Bellflower Hollow tells of violet bells that bloomed only once each spring. Maidens wore wraps adorned with the delicate blossoms as they celebrated their coming of age. The flowers were said to whisper the wisdom of past generations, gently guiding each young woman to true love.
Pattern includes both written and charted instructions, as well as photos and explanations of special stitches.
Finished size: 142cm L × 63cm D x 163cm (diagonal) when worked to the recommended tension.
Requirements:
BWM Cotton 4ply, 1x 200g ball in each of four colours.
3mm hook
3.5mm hook
Tapestry needle, scissors
stitch markers
Optional: 40 wide-hole Pony beads, 1 x 25mm button
Tension: 20 sts and 12 rows to 10cm using treble crochet. Measured after blocking.
