Whisper 8 ply

My Whisper ball of wool Is beautifully warm and so soft to knit with. I’m knitting a beanie for my friend in Ukraine ready for their harsh winter.

The quality of the yarn is worthy of the work that goes into the project.
In this case, the project is a waffle pattern, crocheted throw rug in ‘cloud’ shade, eight ply Whisper. (Pattern purchased from a US site, I can crochet that.)
The rug is tactile, heavy, rich. It was wet blocked at completion and retains its shape and springs back when stretched. After a winter of heavy use it was laundered on the machine's wool cycle and proprietary detergent. Laid flat over towels to dry on the clothes horse, it doesn’t need re-blocking.
Whisper make the process of crochet as satisfying as the result.

I’ve never been a lover of wool in general, mostly because it’s always made me itch terribly, but my adult son wanted a quality blanket handmade and together we decided BWM was our chance to try wool again, I’d been watching and reading reviews for a few years, and so we decided to give it a try, so glad I did, I can rest my arms on the blanket that is progressing nicely and I don’t itch at all. Such a blessing.

I love whisper 8 ply. It’s the most luxurious 8 ply yarn. It is slightly thicker than the average dk yarn, so you can get away with it on worsted weight patterns as well. It blooms lovely when washed and blocked.

I have used quite a bit of Whisper and love it. All my knitted projects are for babies so I like a wool that is soft to wear and machine washable. Light colours are my preference and whisper has some really nice ones. It also mixes very well with Luxury which I also use.

Gorgeous wool. Currently knitting for a nephew heading to Europe. The wool is soft and warm and knits up beautifully. A pleasure to work with.

Lovely yarn to knit with

I am pairing this wool with the mohair, I am really pleased with how it looks.

I am knitting a jumper for my husband, it is knitting up lovely and I am very happy with the whisper wool, which I have previously used in other garments as well. Thank you for giving people such beautiful wools to work with. I have also made the top down pattern in the Lilt Marine colour and she loves it. I only buy Bendigo Wool and I love to knit with it.

Lovely soft wool. Easy to crochet with as the twist helps prevent wool splitting. Nice colours. Always enjoyed using Bluebell 5 ply and Azalea 3ply for crochet as they were also made with a twist.

Knitting looks neat

Knitting with Whisper is an exceptional yarn and has made a difference to my projects.

I always used to buy my wool from Knart, Spot light and I had trouble with the wool spliting. I went to the Adelaide Show to get some help and the lady was very helpful, and recommend I try your wool. since then I have been buying my wool from you and It is such lovely wool to knit with. Early this year my husband and I went Bendigo and I visited your shop, I was quite excited and amazed at all the colours and patterns available and I was very pleased I went. Just great, when buy wool for any patterns the delivery is quick and our postie knows where to go with the parcel and comment "who are you knitting for now"

Love using whisper, this is my 3rd garment I am making with it.

Started knitting my cardigan. Whisper 8 ply Turkish rose is a pleasure to knit. Love the soft feel , ease and texture of this wool.
