Inspired by the unique natural environments of eastern Australia, Wollemi is our newest Australian-made yarn, and is a complete farm-to-yarn range. It's crafted from 100% Corriedale Wool from Roseville Corriedale Farm. near Young in New South Wales. The colour palette is a sophisticated range of 12 blended shades, featuring a slightly heathered appearance, bringing visual interest to finished pieces. There's also a lovely undyed shade, Magnolia.
This soft yarn is the perfect choice for your 12 ply projects: whether you're making adult garments, kids' knits, or lush homewares.

I love this beautiful Corriedale wool. It is so soft a beautiful to crochet with…it glides over the hook. I am currently using the pink crystal colour in the ripple blanket as a block of colour in amongst prism rainforest. It is stunning! Thankyou😀❤️🧶

Lovely and soft, beautiful to knit & machine washable. I am very happy with this yarn.
Finally 100% merino wool I can trust to have no synthetic content. I love the 200 gram balls and the range of blues and greens.
I chose Lily pily, Gumdrop and Paperbark. The yarn is crocheting up beautifully with great stitch definition and no splitting. The colours are deliciously muted with subtle Heathering, very reminiscent of the Australian bush. Everyone who sees the colours loves them. They do have a lanolin scent, so be aware of that.
Wollemi is without doubt my favourite yarn to knit with. I love every second I get to spend with this stuff! Also, the smell is worth mentioning The Best. When will it be in 4ply?
Knitted vest for myself with 8 ply Wollemi so happy with results now knitting jumper I same wool and colour, brolga grey. Flecks of white and black in wool gives garment a natural look.

This wool is so lovely and soft to knit. I love the slight heathered colour which adds depth to the knitted piece. So far, whilst handling wool is showing no signs of being susceptible to pilling. I bought two more colours for jumpers.

Beautiful colour and pretty true to the online pictures. It's in between the very soft and very stiff yarns but overall pleasant to work with.
Main negatives is that there's undertones of yellow and red in person as opposed to the very monotone image online. It also splits a little when working up. Finished product feels nicer when blocked and washed. Overall I recommend this!
Wool is very easy to knit with. Haven't finished the article yet - a jumper - but it's looking really nice and feels soft and cosy for winter months.

I love the smell of Wollemi…..every time I pick up a ball of it, I put it to my nose and it takes me straight back to the shearing shed. I have t started knitting it yet, that will be next year’s project.
Really love the Wollemi 8 ply that I just purchased. Can't wait to knit a top down sweeter that I bought together. This will be the first time I try to knit top down way.

Loved the colout. Very softto knit with but did find that if not careful th that the twist of the yarn didnt unravel. However would use again
