Construction
Knit from the bottom up in-the-round, following a written pattern with charted colourwork. Optional pom pom.
Tension
22 sts and 30 rounds to 10cm over stocking stitch (in-the-round) using 4.00mm needles. How to check and adjust your tension.
Suitable Yarns
This pattern is designed for Rustic Tweed 8 ply, but can be made in any of our Bendigo Woollen Mills 8 ply yarns like Whisper 8 ply, Luxury 8 ply or Classic 8 ply. (Equivalent yarns: DK or Light Worsted).
Accessories
A 4.00mm circular knitting needle (40cm or 60cm long), stitch markers, wool needle. 4.00mm DPNs may be preferred for shaping the crown.
